I highly recommend these preachers as they're spot-on when it comes to rightly dividing the Word of God. All Scripture was written for us, but not all Scripture was written to us. There's practical application to the Christian throughout, but when it comes to doctrine one must be careful to understand to which group the Scripture is speaking to... Jews, Christians or Gentiles. Otherwise contradictions will be imagined.

Standing Vs. State
|
My soul was saved. Not my flesh. We must rightly divide the word of God. We have a standing and we have a state. Look at the two verses below... Do they contradict? Absolutely NOT.
1 John 3:9 "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."
1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
My SOUL does not sin. Cannot sin. So what sins am I confessing???
My flesh sins. And will until the day of redemption.
Stop fooling yourself into thinking your salvation is based on your lifestyle. It's not. You get saved by believing Paul's gospel, the gospel of grace. You get sanctified by denying your flesh as you yield to the Spirit of God.
